A powder-coated aluminium component allows the fitting of our Coral 400mm/16", Kōura 500mm/20" or Floral 400mm/16" to a lamp base. The fitting is available in black or white and comes with nylon fittings. These smaller lights make great table or bedside lamps casting shadows against nearby walls. Table Lamps are a great introduction to the David Trubridge collection especially for people who may not be able to install a hanging pendant.

As you can see attached, we have a standard lamp in our home. Rick and I had fun assembling it over the weekend. In short, we love it. By night when it is switched we enjoy the light and shadows on the plain walls making up the corner and ceiling. And by day, the black interior makes a fascinating contrast as it gives the effect of altering the diamond shapes as you look at it and move to a different place around the room. It's perfect for that corner. We are very happy with the outcome after saying for awhile "that corner needs the right standard lamp". We have found it. Thanks goes to the team at Richmond Lighting in Blenheim, for their advice and patience while we pondered.

How do I choose a light?
Not sure which light to buy? We can give you some advice about designs and sizes. Our lights are a larger than other options on the market, and are intended to be large features. Being thin plywood, they look much smaller once they are installed too and our clients often say they'd wished they'd gone slightly bigger. Read our full FAQ section by following the arrow below.
