As part of the 10th anniversary of Melbourne Design Week, we are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive event with one of the world’s most influential lighting designers: David Trubridge.
Known globally for his intricate, nature-inspired lights and commitment to sustainable kitset design, David returns to Melbourne to display his latest collaborative project in the Mondoluce showroom.
Also on show will be the latest design, Dusk, a battery-powered portable lamp, and two prototypes of a completely new sculptural lighting design, Manta, which is based on the graceful form of a manta ray.

Join David for a free evening talk where he will focus on Regenerative Design. We have reached the point where “sustainability” has become the sustaining of the unsustainable. We must set much more ambitious goals where the things we do and make actively replenish our damaged environment. Why stop at carbon zero when we can, and should, be carbon positive?
