Dusk Care Guide

Dusk is our first portable lamp, inspired by the deep serenity and beauty of Tamatea Dusky Sound in Fiordland, Aotearoa, New Zealand.

It was created in collaboration with Pure Salt as part of their Tamatea Art Project. It focuses awareness both on Aotearoa’s most remote and untouched regions, and also on Pure Salt’s extensive commitment to conservation work.

They are creating a living 'bio bank' where endangered native species can thrive and be reintroduced to pest-free environments across New Zealand. A portion of every sale is donated the Pure Salt Tamatea Restoration Project.

Fiordland immediately conjures up images of grandeur, but while there David was also captivated by the tiny details of microflora growing under the forest canopy. He wanted to draw attention to the diversity of these extensive webs of life. The lights feature some of the samples he collected off branches hanging low over the sea.

Caring For Your Light

Dusk is made from Sylvicta® a cutting-edge, uncoated translucent barrier paper crafted from cellulose virgin fibers sourced from PEFC® and FSC® certified wood pulp. Alternatively, Finnish birch plywood is used to create a similar glowing lantern effect, with the added warmth of visible wood grain.

How to Clean

Before cleaning, always make sure the light is turned off. Use a soft cloth or microfiber cloth dampened with warm water to gently wipe the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. Regular gentle cleaning will help maintain the light's longevity.

Designed To Move With You

Your Dusk is designed for any space, from cosy corners to open areas. Provides a 10-hour operating time with the USB-C charging cable.

Place In A Dry Environment

Ensure Dusk is in a dry area to maintain its longevity.
